Tucson, AZ: Nazraeli Press, 2005. First edition, first printing. Hardcover. near fine. 1/150. Elephant folio. 35 pages (unpaginated). Housed in a maroon cloth clamshell box, with a debossed blind-stamped motif on the front cover. White dust jacket with printed calligraphic character on the front, and black lettering on the spine. Red cloth binding. Original publisher's shrinkwrap present and protecting the dust jacket. Signed by Yamamoto calligraphically, with his chop on the front free endpaper. This copy of one of a limited number of 150, which includes an a plate containing three small photographic prints by Yamamoto. The work contains 48 images in color by the Japanese photographer, and published to coincide with his exhibition of the same name, first held at the PDX Contemporary Art gallery, Portland, OR in 2005. Yamamoto's work is known for the blurring of the boundaries between painting and photography, and for experimenting with printing surfaces. Printed in a limited number of 2500 copies. In near fine condition overall. Scarce.
