Collectible. This is a rare first edition of this second volume of selected papers by William T. Powers. The book is in good condition but has been read and has some highlighting (on 12 pages in total) and some erased pencil notes on a few pages. The cover has a bit of wear and a slight tear (see pictures)

Raised bands with gilt wavy lines on the spine. The compartments ruled and decorated in gilt. Red and green Morocco labels, double ruled and lettered in gilt. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Gilt inner dentelles. Faint mark to the front board and a crack to the inner front endpaper, but the board is firm and tight and there is no cracking to the leather. Overall a near fine copy of this classic work.
