Colorado Springs, CO. Good. Cabinet card produced by Horace S. Poley, a photographer based in Colorado Springs, sometime between 1892-1901. Mount measures 6 ¾" x4 ¾" with the photo measuring about 1/8" smaller in each dimension. Large crease to bottom left corner, cracking both the photo and mount on the recto. Edges of mount are gilt. Verso has remnants of tape used to affix the mount to a book page. Markings from previous owner, collector R. A. Ronzio, on verso in marker. Title "Early day Cripple Creek" written in pencil on verso. Photo depicts a well in the foreground with many other structures in a valley surrounded by forested hills. ; 6 3/4" x 4 3/4" .
