Pp. 157; numerous text-figures and photos, large foldout stratigraphic chart at the rear. Original printed cream-colored wrappers, lettered in black on the spine and front cover, lg 8vo. From the series: Studies in Physical Anthropology. This work was originally published in 1949. It is here reprinted by a photomechanical process in 1969 to present an exact replica of the original 1949 work. The work contains five chapters by Helmut de Terra, Hallam Movius, G. H. R. von Koenigswald, Edwin Colbert, and Franz Weidenreich. No ownership marks and no signs of use.
