Front cover has embossed title with embossed chromolithograph illustration of two angels, and embossed feathers along edges; back cover is entirely embossed chromolithograph illustration of feathers. Title vignette. Words to Easter hymn on left-hand pages facing chromolithograph illustration on right-hand pages. Last page contains words to hymn within illustration. Contents: The Happy Morn is Come -- Welcom, Happy Morning -- Awake, Glad Soul! Awake, Awake! -- Jesus Lives: For Us He Died -- Again the Lord of Life andLight -- Now Let the Heavens Be Joyful. Publication information taken from library records. A scarce and charming late 19th-century Easter publication. In Near Fine Condition: spine edges and lip of front cover wing slightly rubbed and chipped; otherwise clean and bright.
