A nice clean solid copy, where previous owner has pasted inside flap and photo of Mountbatten from original jacket to blank front endpaper. Bookplate on front pastedown, otherwise a clean and solid copy throughout. Laid-in is a signed Christmas card and handwritten, personal letter from The Countess, written on board the Queen Mary, on Cunard Line Stationary, dated October 18, 1962..
