'A.E Newton', latters name & adress 'Hulme Hall, Victoria Park, Manchester' top verso rear endpaper, his occ. ink underlining and ticks to examples lists at chapter ends, a few pencilled mathematical marginalia by D.Newton and a few small sheets of his notes etc. slipped in; faint tanning to endpapers, small ink spashes on one opening, covers generally clean but edges and spine ends rubbed and cloth splitting to front joint.
