John Elitch opened Elitch Gardens in 1890, originally as Elitch's Zoological Gardens, and tragically died from an illness a year later. In 1916, Arnold B. Gurtler bought the park and converted it into the World Famous Elitch Gardens Amusement Park. 102 pgs. Illustrated. Signed and inscribed by Corinne Hunt on the title page. Minimal shelfwear.
