New York: Simon And Schuster, 1957. First Edition. First printing Fine in bright blue paper covered boards with silver colored text on the spine and front board together with a sketches of Eloise running with a bottle of champagne. A small quarto measuring 11" by 7 1/2" with illustrated end sheets with minor bumping to the head and heel of the spine and faint soiling to the fore edge of the text block. In a very good+, unclipped, dust jacket with a slightly tanned spine area and with two short closed tears to the lower edge of the front panel, three small, faint soiling marks to the same and minor wear and rubbing to the upper edge of the spine area and tanning to the folds to the flaps. Unpaginated, but containing 34 leaves of text and illustrations by Hillary Knight. The second volume in the Eloise series. A nice, clean, bright copy with no prior owner's names, markings or book plates.
