About This Item
London: Collins, 1970. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. The interior of the book is clean and tight, showing no marks or signs of use. The green tweed covers are fresh, with a few small marks and light wear to tips and corners. The gilt spine lettering is still shiny. The dust jacket is price-clipped, and is in very good general condition. It has been encased in plastic since manufacture so there is none of the edge wear generally expected. However, there is a narrow glue mark running parallel to the bottom of the cover, and a patch (about 2 x 3 inches) of plastic is missing from the back cover. The attached The attached scans gives a better idea of condition. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: "Young Pixie Trollac believed her grandmother's prophecies about the restoration of the Emerald Crown, the lost Crown of Valens. She and Alexander, a strange young boy newly arrived from England set out to find the Crown and restore a King to the vacant throne.
