Illustrated paperback binding with purple and dark purple coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the back strip sepia tone photograph of author to the rear book panel. Quoting from the rear panel blurb " ... The Emigrants at first appears simply to document the lives of four Jewish exiles or émigrés in the twentieth century. Gradually, as Seabold's precise, almost dreamlike prose works its magic, the four narrations merge into one overwhelming evocation of exile and loss." A little rubbing of the book edges and panels and removal of a sticker can be seen to the lower left hand corner of the rear panel. Tanning of the text block edges and pages. Full number line.
