Harper Collins, London, 2005 Vg/Vg dj shows slight wrinkling to edges over spine ends, but no cuts - shelf-life really. not price-clipped. no inscriptions. top edge of back board is somewhat pushed inwards - as if it has been leant on or crushed. edge itself is not split and the binding is all tight. slightly cocked. very good tight crisp copy with no marks or inscriptions. octavo . First printing. The third novel in the Emperor series . into gaul and then england - echoes of alexander haunt his steps as greatness awaits - or does it as he returns to rome?
