He received an M.A. in political science from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto with specializations in international relations and political philosophy. Prior to coming to Christopher Newport University, he held positions at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, Harvard University, and the University of Georgia. Dr. Busch has published widely in the field of international security and is a specialist in WMD proliferation and terrorism.
