Boards very lightly rubbed at extremities, some old soil to upper cover, light foxing to textblock fore-edge, else a Very Good, exceedingly bright copy. This edition with new [14]-pp. preface bound in between pp. vi and [vii]. Collection of essays by the economist and Assistant United States Secretary of Labor the last year of Woodrow Wilson's administration, best known for his fervent opposition to the "witch hunt" resulting from the first, post-WW1, Red Scare.
