Dark blue cloth with dull gilt to spine. Condition of this 2 volume set is very good. Covers show minor wear, interiors have neat owner stamp on inside front cover and bottom of title page, otherwise clean and tight. A nice set. This work offers a new edition (volume 1) and translation (volume 2) of the Ethiopic text of Enoch. The edition is based on Rylands Ethiopic MS. 23, and full account has been taken of the Aramaic fragments of Enoch that were discovered at Qumran. The intention is to present the sum total of the evidence for the text of Enoch in as clear a way as possible.
