New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1930. Hardcover. Fine/good. [4], 330, [2] p.; 20 cm. Dark green cloth with gilt-stamped spine and cover titles, and red decoration on spine and front cover. Top page edges red. Dust jacket in mylar cover. Former owner's name on front free endpaper. A novel about an English woman who works at an English library in an Italian town popular with English tourists and the occasional novelist. Book is in Fine Condition: clean and tight. Dust jacket is in Good Condition: lightly soiled; small tears and chipping along the edges.
