Edinburgh: [s.n.], 1763. 33pp, [1]. Uncut. Stitched, as issued. Scattered foxing, a trifle dusty. Early inked ownership inscription to title. A rare survival, in original state, of the sole edition of an anonymous pamphlet discussing political attacks made upon Edinburgh-born Prime Minister John Stuart, Earl of Bute (1713- 1792), particularly in regard to the late Treaty of Fontainebleau, thought to be dividing the loyalties of English and Scottish citizens. ESTC records a single copy in the British Isles (NLS), and a further five copies in North America (California, Boston, Huntington, Saskatchewan, and Yale). ESTC N11269.. First edition. 8vo.
