Housed in sturdy dark green slip case. Decorative endpapers. Frontispiece. Numerous black and white illustrations, tipped-in full colour plates. Slip case stamped in gilt with 'International Book Society' and 'Time Life Books', who were perhaps the American distributors. There is a book plate (small, tasteful) pastedown to the front fixed endpaper, otherwise, a fine copy in a fine slip case..
