Very large, heavy book, quality red cloth, very bright gilt lettering on spine, horrifying color-illustration of burning ruins inside covers and adjacent end papers, 184 stiff heavy pages, profusely illustrated, many in color, a double-column format. DJ glossy with color-illustration of charging cavalry on front and spine, list of major battles and dates on back. DJ has very light wear to bottom front tips, tiny tear and creases along top back edge, light creases to bottom back. Near Very Good DJ/Very Fine book.
