Contains colour illustrated plate and frontispiece by Winifred M. Townshend. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed throughout. Occasional thumb-marking present. Previous owner's pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Paper remnants and scuffing to front free endpaper. Minor dog-eared corners. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Mild tanning to spine and edges. Scuffing and light marking overall. Book has a slight forward lean. Clipped jacket has moderate edge wear with heavy splits to joints and edges with slight loss. Mild sunning to spine. Visible rubbing and scuffing to surfaces, with water staining and red marking.
