Bridges, beautifully illustrated by Arthur Twidle. The vanishingly scarce first edition. In the publisher's original cloth with gilt details to the spine and an embossed colour illustration to the front. Illustrated by Arthur Twidle with a colour frontispiece and three colour plates. Collated complete. This adventure fiction novel was written by T. C. Bridges, and follows two boys who set sail to find fortune in the South Seas, encountering many adventures, challenges and animals along the way. In the publisher's original pictorial cloth. Externally excellent with only slight bumping to the extremities and the odd slight mark to the boards. Internally generally firmly bound with slight strain in places, with age toned and clean pages.
