Brief, partially readable rubber-stamped message on verso of rear free endpaper indicating this book was discarded by the Brooklyn Public library but before it was ever processed, so there are no library markings on/in the book. DJ spine head has a an old piece of tape on inside and the spine is a little sun faded. An account of the modern bullfight, including a full description of the corrida, historical notes on the development of bullfighting, stories of the great toreros of the past, a review of the decade of dishonor that ended in 1952, moment-by- moment reporting of recent fights, and - above all - emphasizing the breeding and character of fighting bulls .
