Oblong format hardcover, bound in blue paper covered boards with red cloth spine, and wrapped in an illustrated paper dustjacket. Inscribed by the artist to the previous owner on the front free endpaper: "Jan 27-96 / Dear Stephanie, / I hope you enjoy / this book. / fondly Malcah." There is a slight puckering on the last few pages (possibly inherent? possibly moisture incident?). Otherwise, the binding remains tight and solid, with no other internal markings..
