A SCARCE title, finely bound by Bumpus of London in pigskin with intricate gilt tooled Art Nouveau flowing rose blossom and vine motif to front cover and spine, gilt ruled dentelles, all edges gilt, ribbon marker. "The Text Collated Afresh with the Manuscript at Paris the Translation Revised & the Introduction Rewritten". Near Fine, the white morocco evenly soiled. An uncommon choice of binding for that time period, quite lovely with the intricate gilt tooling. . Second Edition. Pigskin . Near Fine/No Jacket, As Issued. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
