San Francisco, CA: Herbert and Peter Fahey, 1951. First edition, 1951. Finer points of bookbinding. Includes black and white photos of superbly designed bindings plus line drawings. Tan cloth with dark brown cloth spine, no dustjacket as issued, later custom clamshell box in taupe cloth with brown leather spine, paper spine label. The book is in about fine condition, tight binding, clean pages, name neatly written at top of front free endpaper, no other markings. The clamshell case is very good, looks about new.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good Clamshell Box. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
