In order to celebrate the foundation of the UJCS, the Prague clubs, the Czech Chess Club and the Dobrusky Chess Club decided to hold the congress of Czech chess players from 7 through 10 September 1905. The contestants in the main tournamet wre: Oldrich Duras (Czech Chess Club, Prague) with a scored of 5.5 for first. Second was Lev Taussig (Dobrusky Chess Club, Prague) with 3.5. Tied for third and fourth was Karel Treyball (Dobrusky Chess Club, Prague) and Aldof Dusek (Dobrusky Chess Club, Prague) with 3 points each. In fifth was Ladislav Prokes (Czech Chess Club, Prague with 2.5 points. Dr Fdrantisek Nachtikal (Czech Chess Club, Brno) claimed sole sixth place a half point behind with Tomas Sika (Dobrusky Chess Club, Workers' Chess Club, Prague in last place with 1.5 points.

Condition: Small indent a front spine, corners gently bumped, spine ends pubshed else very good.
