Row, Peterson and Company Pub. 1467 hardcover version from the Basic Science Education Series. 1941 First Edition. Checked for Scientific Accuracy by Walter H. Chute, Director of the John G. Shedd Aquarium. 36 pp. Black and Yellow matte fish on inside front cover. Illustrated in color throughout by Elizabeth Newhall. Early grade school reader. Small tear on edge of title page and a 5 inch tear from bottom of page 13. Text is complete and clean. Green cloth over hardboard covers with yellow title and drawing of undersea fishes. Hinges remain tight, but spine is worn. Former library edition with stamp of Public Library, Logan, Ohio on front pastedown and withdrawn stamp on front free endpaper. Rear pastedown has evidence of former library pocket which has been removed.
