London: Grant Richards, 1897. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Good. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. 16mo. (160) pages. A small book measuring 5 1/8 inches tall by 3 3/8 inches wide. Hardcover bound in green cloth with cover designs in darker green. The binding is a bit rubbed and is a little dulled from handling. A sound copy with secure inner hinges. Pencil scribblings on the decorative endpapers. Early owner's signature also on the front and the rear pastedowns and on the black back side of the Table of Contents page. Text is a little toned but clean and unmarked. Some pages roughly opened. Scarce first edition.
