About This Item
London: "The Field" Office, Strand; Ward and Lock 1859. (Hardcover) 115pp. Very good. In signed red morocco binding, gilt tooled with a fox hunting motif. Top edge gilt, grey endpapers with inner dentelles, 6 hand colored wood engravings. Unfortunately this book has been damp on the bottom edge and corner with the resulting dampstaining to the pages and affecting the illustrations, tears in the leather at top and bottom of the spine. Still a charming book. Illustrations by John Leech. Bound by Morrell Binder. London. Locale:. (Hunting, Fox Hunting).
