New York: The Macmillan Company, 1914. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition. Maroon cloth gilt-stamped, top edge gilt. Page edges a trifle foxed, small abrasion on the cover with a slightly sunned spine, very good. Inscribed by the author on the front fly: "To Miss E. R. Hoyt, from her fellow-worker on the slopes of Parnassus, with cordial regards-- John Kendrick Bangs. July 19, 1914." Poetry.
