"Ballads" contains all the Poems printed in the 2 previous Collected Editions with additional pieces and more illustrations.
Special Period Binding Designed from old carved Oak in the Churches of Morwenstow and Wellcombe. Brown cloth cover with beautiful blind embossed Floral Decoration on front & spine. Bright gilt lettering on spines. Top page edges Gilt, other edges untrimmed. "
Footprints" X (10) preliminary pages, main text 290 pages + publisher's adverts. 7 3/4" tall, 430g.
"Ballads" XXVI (26) preliminary pages, main text 316 pages. 7 3/4" tall, 950g.
Slight edge wear. Previous owner's illustrated Bookplate on ffep. Penciled name on half-title page dated 1903. No other inscriptions except old penciled price.
