New York : Alfred A. Knopf, 1934. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Fine cloth first edition with bright gilt lettering on spine and Near Fine DJ. SIGNED by author on front free endpaper. DJ has shelfwear, chipping, creases, 1/2 inch tear at top of spine and several 1/2 inch closed tears that have been repaired in the distant past with tape on the interior of the DJ. The book is Fine, with straight tight spine and pristine gilt lettering. Moderate toning to all pages commensurate with age. No markings, creases, or tears. 64 pages.
