Lancaster, PA, 1956. framed. 3.25 x 6.25-inch First Day Cover commemorating "Wheatland" -- President James Buchanan's home in Lancaster, Pennsylvania after moving out of the White house in 1861. Signed in full by Humphrey and postmarked in Lancaster, on August 5, 1956. The envelope features a detailed image of Wheatland and a small bust portrait of Buchanan. Double-matted in green and white with a 6.25 x 9.25-inch photo of Humphrey laughing with President John F. Kennedy in the White House. Set in a black frame measuring 16.5 x 14.5 inches. Fine condition.<br/> <br/> American politician who served as Vice-President under Lyndon Johnson.<br/> <br/>
