First edition, octavo, pp. 239, Western Frontiersman Series Number XVI. Frontis of Aubry & a generous selection of other illustrations & maps, one of which is folding. Top edge blue. Very good in the publisher's blue cloth with spine lettering gilt. This copy also with the publisher's elusive plain tan dust wrapper. Old small inventory number written in ink on wrapper spine near top edge. Wrapper now ensconced in Brodart.
