Cincinnati: R.W. Carroll & Co., Publishers, 1869. Second in the "The Gun-Boat Series." First published in 1864 by Porter & Coates; this is a Very Good (Minus) copy of a Later Printing from a different publisher. This particular title less common than others in the series. Purple cloth binding, blindstamped with rules and decorative device on the front cover. Titling and deorations in gilt on the spine. Clean text; 256 pages; very bright and clear, with no foxing. The spine has faded to a warm light brown. Rubbed at the margins, with corners and spine ends to a fray; decided lean.. Later Printing. Half-Leather. Very Good (Minus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
