Signed by the Author on the half-title page and additionally inscribed to Pam and Lee Marvin "with affections and admirations" Don, Austin, Texas 9/9/1985. Besides the major works, the series "Twenty-four Hours with the Herd" are represented with seven large pastel paintings that typify the plein-air style. A fine copy bound in rust cloth, spine lettering gilt, in a near fine unclipped pictorial dust jacket.
