About This Item

A complete, definitive photographic history of The African American struggle in America. The book is organized in 5 sections roughly 40 years each, starting in 1840. There are hundreds of archival photographs. It's a huge book. The book is slightly cocked, there is a shallow indentation on the bottom edge and the previous owners name is written on the dark grey front free end page. The jacket has a slight bump on the bottom edge at the spine. Otherwise, the pages are clean and unmarked and the corners are square. Near fine condition.

About mark mcdonald

Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
