This comprehensive guide to gardening is a wonderful early twentieth century work with beautiful illustrations.Harry Higgott Thomas was an author of horticultural books and co-editor of Popular Gardening for over 40 years. He was also the first regular columnist for gardening in the Daily Telegraph. He was awarded the RHS Victoria Medal of Honour.Includes 24 coloured plates, with photographs and sketches throughout. Collated, complete. In cloth binding. Externally, very smart. Very minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Small marks to the front board. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to the pastedowns and endpapers, but pages are very bright and clean throughout. Very Good Indeed
