Revised from the 1874 edition to include updated information on progress in varieties, changes in labor and tools, etc. Very handsome gilt cover vignette of a cabbage (!) and blind stamped boards. About Near Fine with mild rubbing to extremities, binding tight and firm. Choice copy full of wonderful diagrams and illustrations, at least one pressed flower hidden in the leaves.
