Syracuse, NY: Journal Office, 1884. 1884 directory with hand colored folding map mounted on the front free endpaper. Musty odor from attic storage, should dissipate over time. Brown cloth with gilt spine lettering, all edges tinted red, 624 numbered pages. Illustrated with black and white plates. Some cover wear, mainly to corners and spine ends, good hinges at the endpapers, text block basically sound with no loosened pages but with some separation between a few sections with the binder's mesh visible, pages clean, bookseller stamp at bottom of front free endpaper, no other markings. Some closed tears along fold lines of map, no paper loss. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
