Color frontispiece of Washington, Lafayette and Steuben at Valley Forge, same in color on front of blue cloth book, trimmed with gilt. 448 pages, end papers of Washington Home at Mt. Vernon, many illustrations throughout. Ink note with date on second front end paper. DJ colorfully illustrated with Washington and flag in background, small chip at top front tip, tiny tear at bottom front tip and top back tip, tiny tear and 1/4" tear at top front edge nearer spine, very tiny tear and tiny near-chip at spine top right edge. Blue cloth covers lightly damaged on surface, especially back and spine. DJ and book, both Good.
