Good in a Good jacket, unclipped ($3.00), generally soiled, moisture stain on the front flap and rear panel, chipped at the top edge of the rear panel. Orange cloth, rubbed, with black ink lettering and designs on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound, clean internally. Terkel's history of jazz written for a younger audience, a focus on jazz greats like Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Bessie Smith, Bix Beiderbecke, Fats Waller, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Billie Holiday, Woody Herman, and Stan Kenton.
