Hardcover. 20cm, 85,(2)pp., with 2 engraved plates, (portrait and a street view of the school), in the original brown blind-stamped decorated cloth, gilt title on the upper cover, top and bottom spine edge worn and a bit sunned else very good. (Amp) ~ Girard College was instituted in 1833 in Philadelphia, the legacy of Stephen Girard (1750-1831). It still exists today.
