About This Item
London: Collins, 1967. First UK Edition. Hardcover. Very Good+. Original black cloth, lacking dustwrapper. Inscribed in Paris by Jones in the year of publication. The author uses both the title page and acknowledgment page for his inscription: first inscribed and signed "Wilfred Sheed" on the t-p, and then drawing a line/arrow, extending to the verso and the following leaf (ackknowledgment page), where it is "Autographed by the real AUTHOR (and signed there) James Jones."
