About This Item
New York: St. Martin's Press, 2009. First Edition, First Printing. . Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. The 20th book in Beaton's long-running and highly-praised cozy mystery series featuring English female private detective Agatha Raisin. Agatha is not happy. Though upset over the upcoming marriage of her ex-husband, James Lacey, to the beautiful Felicity Bross-Tilkington, Agatha takes time from her successful Cotswold detectective agency to attend the wedding. Agatha's best-laid plans to move on and leave her obsession with James behind her are put on hold, however, when Felicity is murdered minutes before saying, "I do," and Agatha is named the prime suspect. Aside from a touch of very light soiling on the text edges, the text and boards are clean and unmarked, tight and square, not remaindered. The dustjacket is near perfect, perhaps a bit of edgewear at the spine ends, no tears, no creasing or chipping, not price-clipped. Collectable.
