Touching story of a 14 year old boy, Skeeter, who has been raised by his Uncle Jesse. They live near the Pascagoula swamp in rural Mississippi. One day Skeeter hears a strange laughing swamp and traces it to a lost dog. Unknown to Skeeter, she is a valuable Basenji and her breeders have been searching for her.
