This is the 385th title since the publisher's inception.
The Folio Society's formula for success is publishing books with exceptional typography, illustrations, paper and bindings. The Society sources new introductions from literary experts to accompany classic texts and uses skilled designers and master printers to produce memorable fine books.Fiction and non-fiction titles are published. The Folio Society also prides itself on producing series of an author's works which regular publishers might not think economic - in several cases it is only possible to acquire forgotten books by major writers in Folio Society editions.

Goodbye to Berlin is a short novel by Christopher Isherwood. It is often published together with Mr. Norris Changes Trains in a collection called The Berlin Stories. The novel, a semiautobiographical account of Isherwood's time in 1930s Berlin, describes pre-Nazi Germany and the people he met. It is episodic, dealing as it does with a large cast over a period of several years from late 1930 to early 1933. It is written as a connected series of six short stories and novellas.
