Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Introduction by Harold Nicolson. Contains black and white, and colour plates. Pages and plates are lightly tanned and foxed throughout. Slight scuffed loss to front pastedown and endpaper. Tape remnants with brown staining to pastedowns. Minor pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Tape remnants with brown staining to both boards. Clipped jacket has heavy edge wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Mild tanning to spine and edges. Tape staining to edges. Tape remnants to spine and edges. Brown staining to panels. Small blue sticker to spine. Mild tanning to spine and edges.
