New York: Payson & Clarke Ltd., 1927. First edition. Hardcover. Fair/No jacket. 342 pages with index, illustrated with tissue protected color frontispiece and black and white plates. Also includes a short biography of Lady Salisbury. Black cloth binding with blue titles on spine. Cover stained and spotted, some edge wear, corners and spine ends bumped, titles a little affected by stains, hinges a bit weak, some tanning of interior pages, especially black and white plates, which are a bit wrinkled. Second plate is detached and laid in, showing some wear along edges and with crease in inner bottom corner, book seller's sticker on back fixed end paper "Bretano's, New York," binding otherwise tight.

Measures 5 1/2 x 9 inches.
