A fine copy, the binding tight, square and clean, the contents clean and bright throughout. Complete with the original very near fine dustwrapper which is barely rubbed to the extremities, and a wraparound "Signed First Edition" band. Not price clipped (£9.99 to the bottom of the front flap). Signed by the author in black ink to the title page. A ghost story set in East Yorkshire in 1952. Synopsis
HELEN DUNMORE was born in York in 1952. She is a prolific poet and author who has published several collections of poems and children's books, as well as ten novels. Her novel A Spell of Winter won the inaugural Orange Prize in 1996.
